I believe she passed away in 2017 🕊️the same year I came across her work. Swipe to see the first piece I collected of hers that didn’t survive a move from Detroit - titled, Satan or Evil Tools. Later on In 2019 , I was super excited when Matt Ducklo at Tops gallery featured her work in a group exhibition called •The Tree of Life• in which Margaret’s work was shown with artists Hawkins Bolden, Joe Light, Georgia Speller, Henry Speller and others. The piece I am sharing with you today is part of her doctors series. Margaret spent a lot of time in the hospital during her life which inspired a deep reverence for those serving in the medical field .
